Toms House I lived here in Tom Booth's house for a couple of months, it was a very art productive time. I like painting architecture, perspective is just a lot of fun.

Waikani Bridge It took a full day to draw the bridge and three more days to paint the picture on location. Notice a painting rule here, it's lightest next to the dark and darkest next to the light.

Fruit Basket The color on the mango only lasted for 5 hours before turning purple. That's a good example of why it's important to get your first 100% coverage done in the first day.

Kaupo Bromeliad Rock Kaupo is like Camelot, it rains every day but stops by 10:00. This bromeliad was in front of the Kaupo Store just begging to be painted. I used Liquin, but didn't like it's handling qualities and never used it again. I like the painting tough.

Kaupo Piero's Steps In the foreground and middle ground it's always darkest next to the light and lightest next to the dark. Basically, it's darker on the object behind.
On a foreground object sometimes the object behind is sunlit and the object
in front foreground is in a cast shadow.

Kaupo Heart Pink This side of the creator is covered with hearts, sometimes you can see four of them in a row. This painting is one of a series of four, one per day.
